The Challenge Oficinas Competition is a dynamic workshop game, in which the operation of a workshop is simulated through different participatory panels, with the team that accumulates the most points throughout the game being the winner.
1 - The Challenge Oficinas is a technique and management competition organized in Portugal by Jornal das Oficinas in partnership with T Academy.
2 - The Challenge Oficinas is composed of a jury made up of members of the T Academy, which decides, in a definitive, independent and irrevocable manner, on all matters, doubts or conflicts related to the continuation, classifications or attribution of prizes related to the Competition . The evaluation of the competing workshops is objective and will be based on the performance of the exercises and the time spent on their execution.
3 - The Challenge Workshops takes place according to the timetable disclosed in due course. The organization reserves the right to change the dates foreseen for the decisions, if circumstances of force majeure so require. Any change in the calendar will be communicated in due course to all team leaders electronically and to the addresses indicated by them when registering.
4 - In the competition, all registered teams are identified by names given by the workshops themselves.
5 - Each phase of the Challenge Workshops comprises five tests / tests that correspond to five key areas within a car workshop: reception, parts, technique, management and marketing.
6 - The final will be played between the 3 best workshops, on June 18, 2022.
7 - To participate in the Challenge Oficinas, workshops must form a team, complete a registration form and answer the questionnaire that is available online in February, March and April 2022.
8 - Each Challenge Workshop team will consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of five elements.
9 - Changes in the composition of teams must be communicated to the organization in writing.
10 - The competition Jury is made up of T Academy elements. The evaluation in the Final is objective and will be based on the performance of the exercises and the time spent on their execution. The evaluation in the accomplishment of the tests is done by teams. The Jury's decisions to evaluate the tests are final and aim to determine the final classification, computing the sum of the partial results obtained during the exercises performed.
11 - As prizes, Participation Diplomas will be offered to all participating teams. The Challenge Oficinas sponsoring brands will also offer merchandising of their products to all participants.
12 - Upon registration, each team declares to know the content of this regulation, expressly recognizing that all decisions relating to the interpretation and application of this regulation are the exclusive competence of the Jury.
13 - Each participant expressly recognizes and accepts that the decisions rendered by the Jury are definitive and irrevocable, and therefore cannot be appealed or opposed.
14 - The Challenge Workshops consists of 4 PHASES:
1st PHASE - CONTEST REGISTRATION
Workshops that intend to participate in the Challenge Oficinas competition must fill in the Registration Form, which is online on the initiative's website at www.challengeoficinas.pt
2nd PHASE - FUNCTIONAL SKILLS ASSESSMENT

Automotive Technology - For Automotive Technicians
Reception procedures and behavior - receptionist
Parts Area - Clerk/Responsible for Parts
Marketing - responsible for communication and marketing and contact with customers
Workshop Management - Workshop Manager
According to point 8 of the regulation, the team must have a minimum of three elements and a maximum of 5.
This phase is expected to last 3 months (February, March and April 2022)
The questionnaire will be posted online on the Campetição website at www.challengeoficinas.pt.
T Academy is the process management platform.
3rd PHASE - ASSESSMENT OF OFFICIAL PROCESSES AND CONFIRMATION OF FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
At this stage, the workshops will be evaluated as follows:
1. Analysis of workshop processes / reception / repair / delivery / follow-up, being scored on an operational scale to be presented to competitors.
2. Presence on the Web, namely through the analysis of the website and presence on social networks.
The final classification of this phase will have the following weighting:
Point 1: 50%
Point 2: 25%
At the end of this phase, 3 workshops will be selected.
4th PHASE - FINAL GAME OF WORKSHOP DYNAMICS
The three finalist teams will compete in person in a final consisting of:
1. Summarized final test with questions from the 1st Phase. Each participant must answer the groups of questions they answered previously.
2. Dynamic Workshop Game in which the operation of a workshop is simulated through different participatory panels, with the team that accumulates the most points throughout the game being the winner.
3. Practical team tests
Factor 1: 25% sum of the results of the previous phases.
Factor 2: 25% final summary test (sum of the results of the various tests).
Factor 3: 50% dynamic game.
